The 14th Biffes 2023 is all set to take off with a colorful inauguration on 23rd March 2023 and regular screening of the films to commence from 24th March 2023 at 11 screens at Orion Mall and in addition at Kannada Kalavidara Sangha and Suchitra Film Society.
INAUGURATION: Inauguration will be held at Grand Stairs Of Vidhana Soudha on the evening of 23rd March 2023. The festival to be inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai with Presence of Chief Guests Govind Nihalani , Vijendra Prasad, Abhishek Ambarish , Saptami Gowda & in the august presence of celebrities from the Film Industry.
CLOSING CEREMONY: The closing ceremony will be held in Banquet Hall, Vidhana Soudha, in the august presence of HE The Governor of Karnataka. The closing ceremony will be held on 30th March 2023 and awards will be distributed to the winners of the competition sections.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE FESTIVAL CONTENT:
The films for the festival have been selected and finalized. There will be twelve sections and titles of films in different sections is enclosed in the list. There are around 200 films from 50 countries from all parts of the world in conformity with the WORLD IN BENGALURU theme. The films selected for the three competition sections: Asian, Indian & Kannada Competitions will be uploaded on the BIFFES website. The films of other sections is enclosed.

Kannada All time Classic Films “Bangarada Manushya” Kasturi Nivasa”, Sri Krishnadevaraya , Janumada Jodi , America America etc screening under Revisting Indian Classics.
MASTER CLASS: Dadasaheb Phalke Awardee Cinematographer Late VK Murthy Centenary celebrations is the major highlight at BIFFES 2023 & as part selected films of his work like “Kaagaz Ka Phool” & Kannada Film “Hoovu Haanu” is getting screened along with panel discussions.
Bahubaali & RRR film fame Screen Writer V Vijendra Prasad taking Master Class in screen writing.
Kanthara Fame Rishab Shetty & Hombale Films Vijay Kiragandur also part of Master Class.
