FICCI in collaboration with the USTPO, Government of Telangana, The Telugu Film Industry & the Motion Picture Distributors Association (MPDA, India) invites you for the launch event of the “Telangana Intellectual Property Crime Unit (TIPCU) today June 24,2016 at The park Hotel at 9.30 am in Hyderabad.
Shri. K.T. Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister for IT, Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana and H .E Mr. Richard Rahul Verma, United States Ambassador to India will inaugurate TIPCU. The launch will be followed by discussions on the copyright enforcement model by key Government officials and senior industry leaders. TIPCU will set in motion, online content protection initiatives through proactive and stringent enforcement measures to counter online film piracy. This pioneering initiative by the Telangana State Government is exemplary of the Creative industry and Government union to counter digital content piracy.
