Procam International, pioneers of globally renowned distance-running events, has announced that the 18th edition of the World Athletics Gold Label Road Race, the Tata Consultancy Services World 10K Bengaluru (TCS World 10K), is scheduled for Sunday, 26th April 2026. 

For almost two decades, TCS World 10K Bengaluru has evolved into a movement that celebrates Bengaluru’s spirit, offering a blend of competition, camaraderie, and community impact. Lace up to celebrate the city’s joyful spirit #EndendiguBengaluru 


Registrations for all race categories in the on-ground and virtual edition open on Friday, 13th February 2026, 7:00 am at https://tcsworld10k.procam.in/. Recognised as the world’s premier 10K, the event boasts a total prize purse of USD 210,000 and continues to attract elite athletes and amateur runners from across the globe. 


In an effort to enhance the on-ground race experience while prioritising runner safety and well-being, for the first time, entries for the Open 10K category at the TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2026 will be accepted only from participants who submit a valid timing certificate, in accordance with the qualification criteria detailed on the official event website.

The race will be flagged off from Cubbon Road (opposite RSAOI Gate No. 5), while the finish line for all races will be on Cubbon Road, outside Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw Parade Ground.

Mathew AVSM, YSM, General Officer Commanding Karnataka & Kerala Sub-Area, Indian Army said, “This is the third time the Indian Army is associated with the TCS World 10K, and the event reflects what we stand for: fitness, discipline and routine. I urge everyone to participate. I have been running since I was 10, and this race truly shows how inspiring and enjoyable running can be. The TCS World 10K 2025 achieved the Bronze Level in Sustainability as per World Athletics Standards, becoming one of only eight road races worldwide to earn a Bronze or higher distinction—joining the ranks of globally renowned events such as the Boston, Sydney and Berlin Marathons. 
Zero-waste-to-landfill event, with 100% of 7,126 kg of waste diverted through recycling and bio-digestion

Run In Costume unveils brand-new identity 
From this year onwards, the immensely popular Run In Costume (RIC) will be extended across all categories. Eager runners will be given a platform to bring the spirit of ‘Express Yourself’ to life, celebrating creativity and individuality.  
 
Individuals and groups stand a chance to win exciting cash rewards, with individual winners receiving ₹25,000, ₹15,000, and ₹10,000, while group winners will be awarded ₹50,000, ₹35,000, and ₹20,000 respectively.

Registrations for all race categories—Open 10K, Majja Run (4.2 km), Senior Citizens Run, and Champions with Disability (3km)—will open on Friday, 13th February, at 7:00 AM and will close on Friday, 20th March 2026, at 11:59 PM, or earlier, as soon as the running spots are filled. Register now at https://tcsworld10k.procam.in/ 
 
Virtual Run 
 
The TCS World 10K Virtual run continues to gain popularity. It facilitates runners from across the globe to participate and experience the event through the TCS World 10K Bengaluru app. Participants can choose from the Virtual 10K and Virtual 5K categories. Registrations for the Virtual Run open on Friday, 13th February, and will close on Monday, 20th April 2026, or earlier if spots are filled. 
 
Advantage Virtual 
 
This year, the TCS World 10K Bengaluru offers an exciting opportunity for Virtual 10K and Virtual 5K participants to earn a guaranteed paid spot in the prestigious on-ground race categories for the 2027 edition. Entry rules and regulations will apply. 
 
Virtual 10K: 1000 men and 1000 women finishers of the Virtual 10K can avail a paid running spot in the Open 10K race category (on-ground) at TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2027 on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry rules and regulations of TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2027 will apply.
