Rajesh Krishnan Chief Executive Officer United Way Bengaluru, said, “At United Way Bengaluru, we believe that when passion meets purpose, extraordinary change becomes possible. As the philanthropy partner, we are proud to enable a platform where every contribution—big or small—translates into real impact on the ground. This year, we have collectively raised over ₹5.06 crore till now and counting, supporting 94 NGOs and strengthening critical grassroots interventions across 16 diverse causes. With fundraising open until May 9, we invite more individual fundraisers and organisations to come forward and be part of this growing movement. This is not just about giving; it’s about building a community of conscious, committed citizens in Bengaluru and beyond.”

Vivek Singh, Jt. MD, Procam International, said, “It is truly humbling to witness the social impact of this race over the years. When we first envisioned it, the intent was to create a simple, inclusive platform for fundraising. Today, that vision has grown into a powerful pillar—strengthening the social sector, enabling more structured giving, opening new avenues for corporate philanthropy, and inspiring a new generation of philanthropists. My heartfelt congratulations to all our fundraisers, and to United Way Bengaluru for their pivotal role in facilitating this movement and amplifying the impact of every contribution”.

“Seeing injured and abandoned animals up close changed something in me. What started as volunteering soon became a mission to do more. Raising ₹1 lakh in just two weeks wasn’t about the number, it was about inspiring others to care, to contribute, and to realise that even small actions can make a real difference for animals who cannot speak for themselves,” 11-year-old Animal Welfare Fundraiser Siddharth commented.

Visually-impaired fundraiser Idiculla Markose said, “Elderly care, for me, is about restoring dignity and human connection. Spending time with them brings purpose to my own life, but it also reflects a growing reality, people are living longer, and families often struggle to provide care. This is no longer just a personal responsibility, but a societal one that needs compassion, structured support, and committed individuals to step forward.”
