The much awaited film of year 2017 “Bahubaali 2 the conclusion” s first look poster and Virtual Reality on making of film was launched at Jio Mumbai Film Festival with Star 2016 Movie Mela Day 01.
It was attended by Hero Prabhas and two leading heroines Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia along with Producer Shobhu and Director SS Rajamouli. Well Known Critic Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra hosted the talks with the cast & crew with fully jam packed audience.
On this eve film first look poster featuring Prabhas on his Birthday was unveiled and team shared their experiences of the film through out.
Prabhas revealed that he never felt bored to do this film for more than 3 years and stated that one Bahubaali is equal to other 100 films.
Anushka Shetty shared working with Rajamouli and Bahubaali team is always great.
Tamannah bhatia also shared same vibes and said that it was challenging to match with Prabhas macho image while shooting action scenes with him in extreme difficult weather conditions in Georgia and Mahabaleshwar. Also shared it changed her image and perception in the Film Industry and audience about her and said where ever she goes she will be asked about where is that water falls located.
Also both ladies shared about preparations and training underwent for action scenes in the film when same was asked to them
on this occasion Movie Mela curator Director Shakun Batra also interacted with the team about Virtual reality of Bahubaali making along with the man Raja Koduri AMD of Radeon technologies the company which is behind VR technology also specially designed 360 degree camera for the same titled BB360CC. Same was first conceived earlier at Cannes Film Festival in May 2016.
Also on this occasion Bahubaali merchandise and comics series was unveiled also producer Shobu said even theme park with collaboration of Ramoji Film City is in pipeline for the question raised.
Director Rajamouli said that he believes himself as great story teller but doubts on him during Direction which makes himself to be more perfect even during editing and post production stages.
He said for the scale of Bahubaali kind more than 3D he was fascinated by Virtual reality which is first of its kind in history of films and said during one month before film release VR stalls will be installed at pre selected locations where audience can experience the same.
Also said that his team like Art Director Sabu Cyril, DOP Senthil kumar, VFX team etc has been great support and great contributors to the film.
Also he became bit emotional and speechless about retirement of his brother cum music director MM Keeravani from films at the end of year 2017 when asked about it.
Producer Shobu and Director Rajamouli’s family also attended the event.
