Rashtriya Military School (RMS) Bengaluru bagged the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Trophy for best NDA result for the Academic Year 2025-26, on 15 Sep 2026 at an Award Ceremony during Annual Principals’ and Administrative Officers’ Conference of Rashtriya Military Schools held at Manekshaw Centre, Delhi.
The conference was chaired by Lt Gen Vipul Shinghal, AVSM, SM, DCOAS (IS&T) and attended by Lt Gen Ajay Ramdev, SM, Director General Integrated Training (DG IT) and Maj Gen (Dr) Tamojeet Biswas, Additional Director General Army Education and Head of Service (AEC) and all the Principals and Administrative Officers of Rashtriya Military Schools.
The conference also brought together senior military leadership, distinguished dignitaries, eminent RMSs alumni and representatives of all five RMSs. Mr Ashok Lavasa, IAS (Retd), an alumnus of RMS Belgaum and Lt Gen SN Handa, PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd), an alumnus of RMS Ajmer were the chief guests.
The Conference focused on institutional review, sharing best practices and strengthening excellence in academics, leadership, discipline and holistic cadet development.
