‘TO LOVE OR NOT TO LOVE: REDEFINING ROMANCE ON HINDI CELLULOID’- IMTIAZ ALI IN CONVERSATION WITH NASREEN MUNNI KABIR
NFDC Film Bazaar 2016 in its 10th Anniversary edition had an interesting interactions with Hindi Film Director Imtiaz Ali.
He spoke about being coming from small town and his parents were always supportive especially his mother who was very strong and always caught his mischievous made him to enter and establish into Entertainment Industry.Director also admitted since having mother influence on him very much which can been seen in his women protagonists as strong characters in his films.
His journey from “Soch na tha “to current Shah Rukh Khans starer ” The Ring ” was spoken over in between showing selected clippings to the jam packed audience.
Director also replied that he dont believe in working with multiple music composers which is now common in Hindi and said that depends on the film subject he will choose between AR Rahaman or Pritam for music with whom he has worked for the most and have good rapport. Also said that he is not kind of film maker to announce first only Release dates of the film before shooting and wants to go with release plans only after final copy of film is ready.
