Post the successful launch on the Grand Steps of Vidhana Soudha, the 16thBIFFes2025 paved their way for various national and international films and saw an enthusiastic turnout of over 3000 movie buffs for the screening.
Highlights of the Day-1:
– Post launch of Silverstreak (Bellirekhe), an exclusive press interaction was organized with Kishore Kumar G; brand ambassador, N Vidyashankar; Artistic Director and Sadhu Kokila; Chairman of 16th BIFFes 2025 where they answered all the relevant questions on the film industry.
– Promoting the theme of ‘Universal peace in diversity’ they mentioned how Indian cinema has inculcated multiplicity over the years and continuing that, 16thBIFFes 2025 has adapted to the teachings of Basava.
– This international film festival brings in essence from different nations around the globe by screening the films that offers wide array of the theme.
– As cinema is being more commercially driven, the film festival aim to drive people towards films that are not highly acclaimed but socially viable.
– Keeping the heritage alive of how art was studied back then, this festival is planned with an intent to encourage education through films.
