It was one of the biggest and first of its own in India ” Big Cine Expo 2016 ” which happen on Aug 23 & 24 2016 at Chennai Trade centre,Chennai.
The 2 days event saw exchanging of ideas, Business meetings, discussions, Award presentation of all Exhibitors sectors which consists of both Single Theaters and Multiplex chains and its related manufacturing , subsidiaries & vendor stalls across the globe total of around 3200 participants.
On opening day inaugural session was presided by well Known Producer & Director from Hindi Cinema Sri Subhash Ghai of Mukta Cinemas, with Abhirami Ramanathan from Abhirami Mega Mall, Udeep from Mayajaal Entertainment,Raghavendra the man behind Big Cine Expo 2016.
Interesting panel discussions started with Cinema marketing – Tips & tricks for Revenue Growth where all the Panellists emphasised on Quality & Maintenance of the theatres & Malls for footfalls.
Mr Sohan Roy of Aries Plex Trivandrum mentioned “Bahubali ” became highest grossing in their theatre due to its screening quality with 4k Projection & Dolby Atmos and talked about many initiatives they started like late night shows with Uber Taxi tie ups for drops for their patrons after the late shows and early morning educative films for school children which covers their syllabus.
Followed by many networking sessions on Sound, Architecture,Projections,and conversions of Single to Multiplexes on both the days with also Awards Ceremonies in between Quiz sessions and winners walked away with Silver Coins and Goodies.

Finally it got concluded with how to tackle piracy problem of films with all the exhibitors came out as solution to unite in the country and take the government and police assistance.
