The 8th edition of Bengaluru International Film Festival will be held in Bengaluru and Mysuru Simultaneously.
The Inauguration of the Festival will be held on the evening of Thursday, January 28, 2016, in front of Vidhana Soudha at 5.30 PM.
Mrs Jaya Bachhan, Eminent Actor will inaugurate the festival with kannada actress Amulya helping in lighting the lamp.

Mr. Ashok Amritraj, Hollywood Producer
Shri Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Well known Director
Shri D. Venkatesh, Telugu Film Star
Ms. Aparna Sen, Distinguished filmmaker from Bengal
Cultural Events include Dance recital Ms Shobana & Nirupama Rajendra
Closing Ceremony and award distribution on the evening of Thursday February 4, 2016, at Mysuru in front of Mysuru Palace. All the invited guests and distinguished celebrities will participate. Mr. Nana Patekar, eminent Actor will be present. Kannada film industry will present the cultural show.
Mr. Kamal Hasan has been invited.
