Karnataka to Lead India’s Quantum Leap!
Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble CM Shri Siddaramaiah and DCM Shri D.K. Shivakumar, Karnataka State Government working to establish Karnataka as the Quantum Capital of India!
At the Curtain Raiser of Quantum India Bengaluru 2025, N.S Boseraju, Minister of Minor Irrigation, Science & Technology, Govt of Karnataka, spoke that our government will soon unveil the Karnataka Quantum Action Plan, a bold step to place our state at the forefront of quantum technology innovation.
Why Quantum?
Quantum tech is the future. From secure communication and advanced computing to finance, healthcare, and AI — its impact is enormous. Karnataka already has the ecosystem to lead in this space.
🌟 Highlights of the Action Plan:
✅ Quantum education at multiple levels
✅ High-end research infrastructure (with institutions like IISc)
✅ Support for startups in quantum computing, cryptography & more
✅ Enabling policies to drive R&D and innovation
A Quantum Task Force of top experts will be formed to shape this roadmap.
Quantum India Bengaluru Summit 2025 will take place on July 31 & Aug 1 2025.
At the curtain raiser dignitaries spoke proud to host India’s first major quantum summit, right here in Bengaluru — with Nobel Laureates Prof. Duncan Haldane (2016) and Prof. David Gross (2004) delivering keynote talks. A landmark moment for Karnataka!
