Recently, we recognised 146 startups selected under the 22nd round of ELEVATE, the Department of E, IT/BT’s flagship Grant-in-Aid programme. ELEVATE is close to my heart. We started it in 2017 with a simple belief that the government must back founders early, without equity and trust them to build.
This round reflects how far ELEVATE has come: – 146 startups supported with a total grant commitment of close to ₹ 40 cr. – 43% are from Beyond Bengaluru – 43% startups are women-led startups – 1,780 applications processed in under 100 days, our fastest round so far – Over 1,230 startups across Karnataka have benefited ELEVATE was designed to back founders at a stage where most investors hesitate, with no expectations and only the belief that they would succeed, create jobs, advance technology and give back to the ecosystem.
Today, those 1,230 ELEVATE startups are creating real impact across sectors and markets. We will continue to strengthen ELEVATE, expand its reach, and back bold ideas shaping Karnataka’s innovation future mentioned at Elevate 2025 winners event by Priyank Kharge , Minister for Electronics, IT/BT and Rural Development & Panchayat Raj , Govt Of Karnataka.
