‘Ghabadkund’ to Become the First Cinematic Universe in Marathi

The concept of a “cinematic universe,” which has gained huge popularity in Hollywood and Bollywood, is now making a powerful entry into the Marathi film industry as well. For the first time in Marathi cinema, the upcoming film “Ghabadkund” will attempt to present a grand, interconnected storyline where multiple films are linked through a shared narrative. This unique experiment will offer audiences an exciting cinematic experience filled with thrill and mystery. By weaving together several stories, secrets, and characters into a single thread, this innovative concept is expected to become a major attraction for viewers.

Produced from the ambitious vision of Rasik Kadam, the film “Ghabadkund” is set to release on 19 June. After the massive success of the film “Alyad Palyad,” director Pritam S. K. Patil is bringing “Ghabadkund” to audiences. Packed with elements of horror, thrill, and mystery, the film promises to be a special cinematic treat for viewers in terms of presentation and storytelling.

In life, unexpected events sometimes give wings to people’s dreams, but at the same time a frightening game of suspicion and danger unfolds behind the scenes. As unimaginable incidents occur under the shadows of fear and uncertainty, the story raises new questions at every stage. What challenges will those seeking the truth have to face? And in the end, will fate win or will human determination prevail? Building this suspense, the grand film “Ghabadkund” is all set to entertain audiences on 19 June. The film features a powerful ensemble cast including Devdatta Nage, Kushal Badrike, Sandeep Pathak, Shashank Shende, Prajakta Hanamghar, Smita Paygude-Anjute, Vaishnavi Kalyankar, Rocky Deshmukh, Arohi Bhoir, Yogesh Prakash Tanpure, and Sahil Analdevar, among others.

Marking the occasion of Women’s Day, the release date announcement and the first look of the film “Ghabadkund” were recently unveiled at a grand event. During the ceremony, accomplished women from various fields were honored with mementos and gifts. The audience also enjoyed a spectacular glimpse of a stylish and glamorous fashion show. Producer Rasik Kadam’s company “Icon The Style,” known for its remarkable work in different sectors, is now set to make a strong entry into the Marathi entertainment industry through “Ghabadkund.”

Speaking at the event, producer Rasik Kadam said,
“‘Ghabadkund’ will be a unique and thrilling experience. Audiences will see a perfect blend of a strong storyline, quality presentation, and powerful performances by the actors. The film will release on 19 June, and we are confident that viewers will witness a different and exciting story.”

Director Pritam S. K. Patil also shared his thoughts, saying,
“I had been dreaming of creating a ‘universe’ film in Marathi for a long time. I am extremely happy that this dream is coming true through this film. The new generation loves such unique concepts with a large cinematic canvas, and keeping their preferences in mind, we have attempted this experiment.”

The film “Ghabadkund” will be released not only in Marathi but also in several South Indian languages. The screenplay is written by Sanjay Navgire and Akshay Dharampal, while the lyrics are by Nayum Pathan. Yogesh Ingale has handled art direction, Yogesh Koli is the cinematographer, and Soumitra Dharashivkar is responsible for editing. Renowned South Indian fight master Karthik has composed the background music for the film, while Abhinay Jagtap has handled the music. The re-recording mixer is Sujit Shingare, and the sound design is by Manav Shrotriya (MPSC). The film’s manager is Vishnu Ghorpade.

With the creation of a cinematic universe in Marathi for the very first time, “Ghabadkund” promises to deliver a spectacular cinematic experience for audiences.
