Indian panorama Film Festival at IFFI 2016 Goa was kick started with the Inaugural function happened at Inox screen on 21 Nov 2016 with the Sanskrit Film “Ishti” in feature film category and Manipuri Film “IMA Sabitri” in Non Feature film category.
Information & Broadcasting Minister Sri Venkaiah Naidu did the Inaugural ceremony and did the honors to the respective film makers. In His address he praised the work of Jury headed by noted Kannada Film maker Sri SV Rajendra Singh babu for their efforts in selecting the right films and spoke about importance of films as mass media.
Also emphasis that focus were given more to North East Indian states films.
Also Jury Head Sri SV Rajendra Singh Babu addressed the gatherings and talked brief about Jury process.
