International Film Festival of Kerala [ IFFK ] 2022 Opening Ceremony happened on March 18 2022 evening at Nishagandhi with many stalwarts from Film Fraternity & Kerala Government presence.
Before the event tribute to Latha Mangeshkar by performing her songs was done by Gayatri Ashokan.
The opening ceremony had presence of with the presence of Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan & some his cabinet colleagues.
Lisa Calan was awarded IFFK’s first spirit of film award.
Noted Film maker Anurag Kashyap & actress Bhavana Menon was cynosure at the ceremony who got thundering applause.
Azmeri Haque Badhon starer “Rehana” Bangladeshi film was opening film screened.
Trivandrum Mayor Arya Rajendran, Kerala Chalanachitra Academy President Ranjith , IFFK Artisctic Director Bina Paul , Film Makers Shahji N Karun & Adoor Gopal Krishnan were other notables.
