Kannada Films Glory -Recent Trend setter film makers of Kannada Films felicitation by Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy

Recently Kannada Films are doing great business and getting thunder applause not only with in the state but also from the audience globally. The reason is new innovative ideas film makers are pitching in and making content driven films & adding English subtitles. This era in last 2 months of 2016 had back to back four films which is Thithi, U-Turn,Karva & Godhi bana Sadarana Mykattu.

To recognise this film makers efforts,Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy today morning organised event under name Kannada Film Chitrakala [ Blossoms of Kannada films ] with support of Information & broadcasting Ministry Govt of Karnataka.

Event was more meaningful and film makers chosen to felicitate and who attended were
Aravind of Last Bus film
Raam Reddy of Thithi film [ Era Gowda writer of the film was present on behalf ]
Pawan Kumar of U-Turn film
Navaneeth of Karva film
Hemanth Rao of Godhi Bana Sadarana Mykattu

Also present were NR Vishu Kumar [ Director of I & B Govt of Karnataka ] KCA Chairman SV Rajendra Singh Babu & Registrar HB Dinesh, HD Gangaraju president of South Indian film Chamber of Commerce , Actor / Director Ramesh Aravind,Writer / Director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar,Senior Writers & film Critics Girish Rao [ JoGi ] Sadashiva Shenoy, Cha Ha Raghunath, HK Prakash of Rangitaranga producer and many others from Film fraternity,Media and general audience and program was anchored by Aparna.

All the above seniors complimented these new breed film makers for their hard works,sincerity shown in films and advised them to continue their beliefs while making films and not to succumb to pressure from Stars or Prodcuers.

KCA Chairman SV Rajendra Singh babu & NR Vishu Kumar spoked about challenges and difficulties,threats faced by Kannada film makers in distribution & exhibition system in Karnataka State and urged all film makers to unite for solutions with govt support.

Lastly all above film makers spoke about their films and thanked for honouring them and program came to abrupt end due to running out of time.

Wish more of experience sharing and interactions with these film makers were scheduled it would have been fine.
