Today Karnataka State Chief Minister Sri Siddaramiah announced winners for Film Awards for the year 2016 based on the selection made by jury committee headed by noted film maker Kavitha Lankesh.
BM Giriraj Directed recent film “Amaravathi” story revolving around life of scavengers [ Pourakarmikas ] was adjudged as Best film and its leading Actor “Achyuth Kumar” won best actor award and also Dialogue writer award went for BM Giriraj.
Rakshith Shetty Acted & Produced Block buster “Kirik Party ” won award for Best Entertaining film.
Shruthi Hariharan won best actress award for Jayatheertha’s “Beautiful Manasugalu” which also won multi lingual versatile play back singer Vijay Prakash singer award.
DOP Shekhar Chandra won Best Cinematography Award for his work in Mungaru Male 2 which also got award for Senior production Manager KV Manjaiah award.
Congratulations to all the award winners and Presentation ceremony is expected on 24th of this month on DR Rajkumars Birth Anniversary.
