MAMI Festival Director Shivendra Singh Dungarpur made a major announcement about the renewal of MAMI’s Year Round Programme with a focus on independent cinema beginning with a regular weekly screening of films from all across India and the world at PVR Lido, Juhu in Mumbai.
Four screenings will be held every month throughout the year giving opportunities to emerging filmmakers to not only showcase their films, but also discuss their processes and challenges with cinephiles and fellow filmmakers at the Q&A sessions.
It may be noted MAMI Mumbai Film Festival in the year 2025 not happening but preparing for the year 2026.
