Mumbai International Film Festival [ MIFF ] 2022 for Short Fictions , Animations & Documentaries was organised by Films Divisions , under Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Govt of India was recently held from May 29 to June 04 2022.
There were around 808 entries from 30 countries & Bangladesh was county focus. Special Animation films packages from Iceland , Mexico , Brazil was highlights.
Special Package from Consulate General of Italy , Consulate General of Japan in Mumbai.
V Shantaram Life time achievement award was given to Sanjit Narwekar .
Sathyajit Ray Exhibition with Audio Visual Presentations was Highlight.
B2B & MIFF Hubs to create business opportunities & monetization with participation of digital screaming partners Pocket Films, ShortsTV , Planet Marathi , Amazon Prime Video , MUBI & Docubay
Homages & Retrospectives of various stalwarts was curated well.
National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) films was also screened.
North East States of India special packages films was screened.
Master classes & Workshops from Prasoon Joshi , Shivendra Singh Dungapur , Rizwan Ahamd, Regina Pessoa, Carter Pilcher ,Resul Pookuty , PC Sanath , Nala Mutthu , Ramprasad Sundar was conducted.
Open forums was conducted by Indian Documentary Producers Association [ IDPA ] Mumbai.
