National Film Awards [ India ] 2018 Winners

National Film Awards winners for the year 2018 which was deferred due to General Elections 2019 in April & May 2019 was announced on August 09 2019 by the jury headed by Eminent & veteran Film Maker Sri Rahul Rawail and below are winners from Feature Film Categories & report was handed over to Mr Prakash Javadekar Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

Best Actor Awards is shared by current heartthrobs and sensational Ayushmann Khurrana & Vicky Kaushal for their performances in the Hindi films “Andhadhun” & “Uri The Surgical Strike” respectively.

Best Actress was bagged by Miss Keerthy Suresh for her brilliant performance in bio epic of late actress Savitri from the Telugu film “Mahanaati”.

Noted Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali won Best Music Director for Songs award for his Hindi film “Padmavaat”.

This year Kannada Film Industry which was quiet dull in recent years at National Film Awards & Indian Panorama bagged with 11 various categories Awards in Feature Film categories with Women Centric “Nachitarami” bagging 5 Various Awards & Blockbuster “KGF” Chapter 1 bagging 2 important awards of VFX & Stunt Choreography & 2 awards from Non Feature Films total to 13 Awards which is highest for the Industry.
