Now most of the film buffs would have know Pete Draper the VFX [ Special effects ] man behind Bahubaali Series,if not he is the man behind all SS Rajamouli films from Maghadheera to mighty Bahubaali 2 also co founder of Makuta leading VFX company. He was in Bengaluru for the 3 days conclave on Games,Animation , Comics & VFX sessions titled GAFX 2017 earlier years was known as ABAI FEST.
Pete Draper was the cynosure among all the speakers at the 3 days sessions and thanks to the organizers of the GAFX 2017 since this is his first interactions on Bahubaali 2 post release which now grossed 1400 + World Wide and breaking all the records of not only Indian film Industry but many other countries entertainment markets.
Pete Draper sessions was on Day 2 with making of Virtual technology [VR] “The Sword Bahubaali ” in which he explained the making aspects of it through his presentation slides and clippings need to say it was packed house and organsiers had tough time for over crowd to restrict entry to hall due to shortage of place. For to make VR technology a special 360 degree camera was made which now known as BB360c by AMD Radeon Technologies Group. Post his presentations it was followed by QnA by enthusiasts attendees who were most of them aspiring VFX students and budding film makers which continued till last day in offline where he was moving around.
On day 3 before closing ceremony his presentation on making of Bahubaali 2 was run through for more than 90 minutes for which even Government of Karnataka’s Minister for IT,BT & Tourism Mr.Priyank Kharge also witnessed and had a special mention about it in closing ceremony speech.

First time in the film industry ” Lidar” was used to capture natural images to get high resolution images to recreate in VFX.
Reminded him of his association with Sandalwood / Kannada film Industry in last year 2016 release “Naagarahaavu” in which he recreated Late Actor Vishnuvardhan on the big screen which also stared Divya Spandana / Ramya.
Looking forward his more associations in future Kannada Films.
