At the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) Kannada horror film Rudhirvana which had gala premier & its Director Debutant Agni Narasimha while addressing presscon for my question recalls the missing opportunity of working with Late Puneeth Rajkumar fondly called Appu for his film “Dvitva” psychological thriller to be Directed by Pawan Kumar of Lucia Fame under Hombale Films for which Agni was selected to work as Assistant Director through the short film competition which he made with his wife while he was living in the United Kingdom during Lockdown.
Agni further adds that once during event he met late actor Appu as fanboy movement but during the pre production of “Dvitva” he personally never had opportunity to meet but he says Puneeth is one of the inspiring personality for him to get into the Films also now make him “Rudhirvana”.
Rudhrivana lead actress Paavana Gowda was present with the PIB official Nikitha who moderated the pc.
Co incidence that today November 25 on which “Dvitva” was suppose to go on floors in 2021 but untimely death of Puneeth Rajkumar on October 29 2021 shattered millions of dreams & hearts of film fraternity , family and fans in which one was Agni but with Appu blessings that around same time 4 years later his debut film Rudhirvana had gala premier at IFFI 2025 with good reception and applause.
