The Annual Principals’ Conference of Rashtriya Military Schools (RMS) successfully culminated on November 13, 2025 at Rashtriya Military School Belagavi following two days of intensive deliberations. The conference was held under the visionary leadership of Lt Gen Ajay Ramdev, SM, Director General Integrated Training (DG IT), and witnessed the significant presence of Maj Gen VK Bhat, VSM, Additional Director General Army Education & Head of Service. The General Officers actively participated in the two-day meet, engaging with the Principals to discuss various critical issues pertaining to the optimal functioning and strategic growth of these prestigious institutions. The General Officer spearheaded discussions on vital agenda points aimed at exploring meaningful and viable solutions for the schools’ future.
Key areas of deliberation included enhancing CBSE and NDA results, providing significant impetus to the growth of girl cadets in all spheres, ensuring the provision of state-of-the-art infrastructure, refining the curriculum, reviewing the budget allocation, and optimizing staffing levels. These thorough discussions brought forth actionable solutions to many critical issues impacting the school.
The five Rashtriya Military Schools, steeped in tradition and committed to holistic education, were represented by their Principals: RMS Chail, RMS Ajmer, RMS Belagavi, RMS Bengaluru, and the youngest institution, RMS Dholpur. The attendance of senior army leadership underscores the Army’s unwavering commitment to fostering the next generation of leaders through the exceptional education provided by the Rashtriya Military Schools. The successful conclusion of the meet promises a revitalized focus on excellence.
