And this event is organized by 12 ministries and departments of Government of India. And the theme is a very excellent, creative minds catalyzing science and empowering technologies. As aware, today under the guidance and direction of Honorable Prime Minister of India, Government of India is continuously working to encourage research and innovation among other things towards Viksit Bharat 2047.

And we are also going to be part of this conference and to have a session on space science and technology as one of the important themes.

Honorable Prime Minister has given a clear vision to land on the moon by 2040.Indians landing on the moon using our own launcher.

And then a country to become a contributing in the space area, the government alone contribution is not adequate. So the Government of India 6 years back has rolled out the space sector reform. Today something around 440 start-ups and companies are working in that area where 6 years back it was 2 companies only there. And actually the country needs lot of space infrastructure. Right now we are having only 56 start-ups in the orbit.

Along with the industrial partners, start-up companies, academia and government sector, how they are working together. Everything is going to be addressed. So surely these 3 days event is going to be an outstanding event. Showcasing the emerging scenario in science, technology, innovation in the country. And surely it will benefit the country in a big way, how the country is progressing in this area.
