Dr Darshan Reddy ,MD Internal medicine , Altius hospitals has been awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Indian College of Physicians (FICP) at the convocation held during APICON in Patna recently. The honour recognises her distinguished work in internal medicine, diabetes, and endocrinology, as well as her longstanding commitment to research and teaching.
The FICP is among the highest academic distinctions in internal medicine in India, conferred upon physicians who have demonstrated excellence in clini. cal practice, research publications, and contributions to professional bodies and continuing medical education.
Dr Darshana has been at the forefront of diabetes and endocrine care in North bangalore , leading comprehensive services at Altius hospitals HBR layout and actively participating in national scientific forums.
Expressing her gratitude, she described the fellowship as “An inspiration to further strengthen evidence-based, compassionate care for people with diabetes and endocrine disorders.”
