Karnataka Government flagship event GAFX 2026 of AVGC sector was inaugurated in the august presence of Siddaramiah ,Hon Chief Minister of Karnataka , D.K.Shivkumar Hon Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka , Priyank Kharge , Minister for Electronics, IT/BT and Rural Development & Panchayat Raj . Govt of Karnataka and other Industry dignitaries.

Bengaluru is a city where imagination meets engineering and creativity meets technology. The AVGC-XR sector is no longer niche; it is shaping storytelling, education, tourism and immersive digital experiences across the world. Karnataka has been a pioneer – the first State to launch a dedicated AVGC policy in 2017, and we are now implementing our third AVGC-XR Policy (2024–2029). Through K-Tech, Startup Karnataka and Centres of Excellence, we are strengthening talent, infrastructure, startups and original IP, while expanding growth beyond Bengaluru to emerging cities. We are also integrating immersive technologies into education, medical training and heritage preservation, ensuring that innovation serves society.
Growth must be geographically expansive and socially inclusive, unlocking opportunities in every district of our State. With the potential to create 20 lakh jobs in the next five years, this sector empowers our youth to become creators of virtual, cinematic and interactive worlds. Karnataka’s talent is already contributing to global cinema, gaming and OTT platforms. As AI transforms the industry,
we remain committed to ethical innovation that protects intellectual property, respects data privacy and amplifies – not replaces – human creativity. Karnataka will continue to lead – not only as India’s Silicon Valley, but as the Creative Capital of the Digital World.
