The 262nd Army Medical Corps Day was celebrated on 02 April 2026 at Rajendra Sinhji Army Officers’ Institute (RSAOI) Bengaluru. The Corps Day commemorates selfless dedication, supreme professionalism and sacrifice that Armed Forces doctors and paramedics of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force have rendered during war and peace over the last two centuries.
Air Marshal Seethepalli Shrinivas, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Training Command, Indian Air Force, was the chief guest for the occasion. Air Vice Marshal Renuka Kunte, Principal Medical Officer, Training Command, IAF was the chief patron. The chief guest complimented Medical Officers for their stellar role in both the peace time as well as in operational roles. The Air Marshal expressed confidence that AMC will continue to provide yeoman service with exemplary dedication and devotion in the years to come.
Air Vice Marshal Renuka Kunte in her address, assured the Chief Guest of best practices with compassion and care to all. She also spoke of modernization of field medical units and hospitals that is ushering in a transformational change in the Medical Corps. The celebration was attended by military and civil dignitaries, both veterans and serving.
