Bengaluru: UPES, a leading multidisciplinary and research university, hosted the Bengaluru edition of its flagship leadership dialogue platform, DrishtiKone 3.0, bringing together industry leaders and academic experts for meaningful discussions on the future of innovation and talent.Held under the theme ‘Ecosystem Convergence: Industry, Innovation, Integrity’, the dialogue focused on the impact of DeepTech, start-up acceleration, and the transformation of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in shaping the future of industry and workforce development.
The event featured two key discussion tracks—Innovation & Design and Technology & Talent. Experts highlighted the importance of collaboration between academia and industry in building future-ready skills and evolving learning models.A key highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UPES and Dell Technologies.
The partnership aims to strengthen industry-linked learning through curriculum enhancement, faculty development, guest lectures, internships, and placement opportunities for students.Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sunil Rai, Vice-Chancellor, UPES, said,”The future of higher education will be shaped by strong industry linkages.
