Bengaluru: Yezdi and BSA have introduced two new scrambler motorcycles in India, designed for modern riders seeking versatility across city roads, highways, and light off-road terrain.
The launches include models in the 350cc and 650cc segments, strengthening the growing scrambler category in the premium motorcycling market.The Yezdi Scrambler 350 is positioned as one of the lightest scramblers in the country, powered by a new liquid-cooled ‘Katar’ engine. Delivering 30 bhp, 30 Nm torque, and an efficiency of 30 km/l, the motorcycle is suited for both urban commuting and weekend getaways.
It is priced starting at Rs 1,99,950.The BSA Scrambler 650 features a 650cc single-cylinder engine, producing 45 bhp and 55 Nm torque. Inspired by iconic models such as the Gold Star Catalina and A10 Spitfire, it combines classic styling with modern engineering.
The motorcycle is priced from Rs 3,24,950.Anupam Thareja, Co-founder of Classic Legends, stated that scramblers are set to redefine Indian riding culture with their dual-purpose capability. Co-founder Boman Irani highlighted Yezdi’s legacy as a brand known for individuality and a strong connection to scrambler culture.
The Yezdi Scrambler weighs 174 kg and is designed for agile handling and rider comfort, while the BSA Scrambler has been adapted for Indian road conditions.Both motorcycles are backed by Classic Legends’ Ownership Assurance Programme, which includes a 4-year/50,000 km warranty, extended warranty options, roadside assistance, and AMC packages across 400+ service touchpoints nationwide.
