International Film Festival of India [ IFFI ] 2019 which in its golden jubilee on its opening day started with the presence of Two living legends of Indian cinema Sri Amitabh bachan who also Dadasaheb phalke Award winner of year 2019 and Sri Rajnikanth who was honored as ” IFFI Icon of Golden Jubilee Award ” along with Union Minister of I & B , Climate Change Sri Prakash Javedkar , Chief Minister of Goa Dr Pramod Sawant , Babul Supriyo MoS for Ministry of Climate Change , Environment & Forest Government of India, Sri Amit Khare Chief Secreatary Ministry of I & B Govt of India and other dignitaries from both National & International.
French actress Isabelle Anne Madeleine Huppert was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Jubilee edition of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2019.
Russia was the Country Focus Partner and evening saw some live performances by singer / composer Sri Shankar Mahadevan and team.
Multi personality film maker Karan Johar hosted the entire event.
