Amul joins as Official Partner of Glasgow 2026

Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), popularly known as Amul, has been announced as an Official Partner of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and Presenting Partner for the Weightlifting, Para Powerlifting and Boxing competitions. 

Amul has also become an Official Supporter of Commonwealth Sport. 

Through their role as an Official Partner of Glasgow 2026 and Presenting Partner of Weightlifting, Para Powerlifting and Boxing, Amul aims to further its mission of promoting milk and dairy products as a natural source of energy and nutrition for athletes. 

As the world’s largest farmer-owned dairy cooperative, Amul represents 3.6 million farmers and was ranked the world’s leading cooperative in the International Cooperative Alliance’s World Cooperative Monitor 2025. The cooperative collects around 32 million litres of milk each day. 

The organisation describes milk as “The World’s Original Energy Drink”. 

At Glasgow 2026, the Para Powerlifting competition will take place on 24 July, with Weightlifting running from 26-30 July and Boxing held from 24 July to 1 August.
