Today phenomenal launch of both EPIQ and EPIQ Luxon at Karpagam Grandplex, Coimbatore.
EPIQ launch is special, but the cynosure of all eyes today was EPIQ Luxon, a magnificent 62’ W x 32’ H, acoustically transparent LED screen, complemented by MAG audio with Atmos. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 420.
This launched marks several milestones:
- India’s largest LED screen (by far)
- Tamil Nadu’s first EPIQ Luxon
- India’s first 4K HDR, acoustically transparent screen (the screen is porous, allowing sound to pass through It is one thing to watch the visually striking HDR picture and feel awe, but even with the screen turned off, the EPIQ Luxon screen held everyone’s wonder when the lights behind it were turned on to demonstrate its transparency.
- EPIQ Luxon has set an unprecedented standard in cinema viewing. Safe to say, the screen bowled them over with its darkest blacks, brightest colours and eye-catching contrast.
- The 14th EPIQ screen continues to charm audiences with its unmatched scale, a 50ft W x 26ft H screen with Barco 4K RGB Laser projection and MAG + Atmos audio. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 240.
- This launch was taxing for many of the teams involved in every way, physically, mentally and emotionally.
