Bengaluru: United Breweries Limited (UBL) has announced a reduction in prices across its beer portfolio in Karnataka.The price revision covers both mainstream and premium category products, making popular brands such as Kingfisher Premium, Kingfisher Ultra, and Heineken® more affordable for consumers across the state.Commenting on the development, a company spokesperson said, “We welcome the recent excise reforms introduced by the Government of Karnataka, including the AIB-based taxation framework, which has helped reduce taxes on beer.
As a company committed to the long-term growth of the category, we are pleased to pass on these benefits to consumers. This move will make beer more affordable while continuing to support our commitment towards responsible consumption.
”Revised Consumer Prices in Karnataka (650 ml bottles): Kingfisher Premium: Reduced from ₹185 to ₹110 Kingfisher Ultra: Reduced from ₹225 to ₹150 Heineken Silver: Reduced from ₹270 to ₹200 Heineken Original: Reduced from ₹270 to ₹200
