Bengaluru: The 10th edition of The INDIA Advantage Summit (TIA Summit) 2026 opened in Bengaluru against a backdrop of accelerating digitalisation, shifting global partnerships and rising pressure on infrastructure and resources. Across the first day, the conversation centred on converting technological capability and international cooperation into scalable economic, environmental and societal outcomes.
Opening the Summit, Jose Jacob K, Chairman & Curator, TIA Summit & Future ICT Forum, said, “The future of technology isn’t just smart — it has to be human-centred, AI-enabled and outcome-driven.” The opening address by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Lehmann, President, Hochschule Hof, University of Applied Sciences, reinforced the importance of international knowledge exchange and collaboration in advancing innovation.
The discussions began with green data centres, energy, cybersecurity and smart cities, examining how rapidly expanding digital demand is reshaping energy requirements, urban infrastructure and cyber resilience. The focus was on building systems that are intelligent, secure and energy-conscious while supporting sustainable urban growth.
The India–NRW/Germany dialogue then turned to the role of international partnerships in connecting manufacturing, mobility, infrastructure, technology, talent and investment. This international perspective widened into a discussion on global collaboration for a sustainable and resilient future, emphasising the value of connecting capital, research, technology and policy across borders.
A Special Address on Building Resilience placed preparedness, agility and adaptive capacity at the centre of navigating economic and technological disruption. A Summit Spotlight by Rubix World subsequently focused on the German Indian Innovation Summit in Berlin, while previewing the upcoming GAVS Bengaluru engagement.
The conversation then shifted towards the future of physical connectivity through Mobility, Space & Drones, examining the convergence of autonomous systems, advanced mobility, aviation and infrastructure, with emphasis on interoperability and readiness for real-world deployment.
The day concluded with DPI, Finternet & Digital Commerce, examining digital identity, interoperable platforms, emerging financial models and regulatory frameworks shaping India’s evolving digital economy.
Across the discussions, a common thread emerged: technology is no longer a standalone sector but an enabling layer across infrastructure, energy, mobility, finance and global commerce. Turning this momentum into lasting impact, however, will depend on the ecosystems, partnerships, capital and policy frameworks that enable innovation to scale.
The India Advantage Summit 2026 continues on 23 September, with further conversations on the technologies, capabilities, industries and investment opportunities shaping India’s next phase of growth.
