Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has wished his fans and followers on Eid-ul-Fitr. The first song ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’ from his much-awaited action entertainer ‘King’ has been released, creating a new sensation among music and movie lovers. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have once again teamed up for a music video.
Introducing the world of the film, the video song begins with Shah Rukh Khan’s Khadak dialogue. “Main khatil nahi, aashiq hoon, aur nishaan meri mashooka, aur woh aashiq hi kya jo dil cheer na de (I am not a murderer, lover; my target is my lover, if my chest is not ripped open, he is not a lover),” he said. The romantic track, which starts off with the vocals of Bollywood’s popular singer Arijit Singh and the unique rap style of global pop sensation Ed Sheeran, is brilliantly fused with Madhubanti Bagchi’s voice.
The song is a mix of romance and action and gives an insight into the film ‘King’. The song has been composed by Sachin-Jigar, lyrics penned by Kumaar and choreographed by Piyush-Shazia. Also, the English rap written by Ed Sheeran makes this country-foreign fusion even more appealing. There is another powerful dialogue by Shah Rukh that comes at the end of the song. The dialogue “Iss baar dil mein aag lagi hai, ab duniya jalaye bina manega nahi” (This time there is a fire in the heart, it will not be quiet without burning the world) doubled the expectations on the film.
Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan’s on-screen magic, song sequences and crisp action transitions add to the grandeur of the film.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is jointly produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Morphlix Pictures and is scheduled to release worldwide on December 24, 2026.
The song ‘Tu Mil Jaye’ is currently available for viewing on all major audio streaming platforms including Zee Music Company and T-Series YouTube channels
